In researching Mummy Mania of the Victoria Era I found this little known book by Dracula author Bram Stoker called Jewel of the Seven Stars.  A chillingly Victoria mummy saga to keep you up at night.

Researching THE STOLEN CHALICE, I decided to put in a location that was a sharp contrast the the exotic international plotline.  The wholesome outdoors of Jackson Hole Wyoming serves as a contrast to the decadent character Tipsy VerPlanck.  

Mummies on wheels

The curators at the Brooklyn Museum CAT scanned a mummy to find out what was inside the sarcophagus.  I went along for the ride – so to speak.  Research for THE STOLEN CHALICE.
